Eastwood 18 Inch Pneumatic Planishing Hammer 74163

Description

The Eastwood 18-Inch Pneumatic Planishing Hammer is made for fabricators and restoration enthusiasts who want to produce smoother panels, refine weld seams, and create consistent crowns in sheet metal with professional results. Powered by compressed air and controlled with a responsive foot pedal, it delivers rapid, controlled blows that dramatically reduce the time and effort required compared to hand planishing.

Its rigid steel frame and generous 18-inch throat depth provide excellent access to automotive body panels, motorcycle tanks, and custom fabrication projects. Adjustable hammer speed ranges from 1,800 to 4,600 blows per minute, letting you tailor the tool's performance for mild steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. The quick-change anvil system includes eight different radius anvils, allowing you to match the contact surface to virtually any panel contour for cleaner, more consistent finishes.

Whether you're smoothing welds after patch panel installation or refining complex bodywork, this sheet metal shaping tool delivers precise, repeatable results while improving productivity.

The package includes everything needed to get started, including the air hammer assembly, heavy-duty stand, foot pedal, air hose, fittings, mounting hardware, and an anvil storage tray. Backed by Eastwood 1-year warranty and 100% US-based customer support.
